I am quiet, sociable and independant. Apparently, I am curious, but I remember I was not really a curious child. I like to learn from the life's choice of persons I meet, to share experience of travel and of everyday life, ideas and dreams, to cook together, drink a good warm tea or a glass of wine with a friend and laugh.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
My first CouchSurfing Experience was in Toronto, ON and the home of the girl who hosted me was an amazing welcoming cozy and messy place. Nice christmas lights outside blinking in the night welcomed me. I met an amazing dreaming and energic little women. We talk until late about books and had tea for hours even if we were both tired. It was "as if" we knew eachother for a long time and were meeting again. Now, each time we are in the same continent or country we try to see eachother or give some news through airmail. This friend stayed at my parent's place in Paris and I hosted her in Berlin for few days after that, we enjoyed our time and I was glad she came in Berlin and visit me because for almost one year we had not seen eachother. I came back in Toronto this year and she is planning to come soon in Paris.
Since then, I have been lucky to be hosted by wonderful people in the United States and in Mexico. People are coming and going and I was happy to meet again some people, it was a pleasure to meet Alejandro again in Paris and to be able to host him, listen to his visits and spend some time with him and a friend of mine in Paris during the summer 2009.
As I am often traveling, hosting has been more difficult but I might be able to host soon as I am planning to stay in Paris for some time and as there should be room for travelers.
reading, writing, looking at cityscapes, going to the cinema, watching movies, art museums, parks, mountain hiking, riding, biking, picnic, cooking, drinking coffee or wine with friends, drinking tea, pilates, rooftop, etc.
Music, Movies, and Books
I cannot write one or an other there, it will be nicer for me to speak about that. These days, I like to listen to Andrew Bird and Joe Dassin a lot.
Cormac McCarthy's books, Hervé Guibert, I read John Irving for a long time even if it makes a long time I haven't read a book written by him, Boris Vian,
David Cronenberg's films, 60's films, Antonioni, Hitchcock, Minnelli, ...
David Hockney's paintings, Brancusi, Calder, Oldenburg, Giacometti, Italian Renaissance, Pompon's sculptures
