My boyfriend Ian (Irish, 33) and I are travelling and working in Canada at the moment on a working holiday visa. We have been in Canada since Jan and have done a variety of work including helping out tour groups in the Rockies, building shelves, working at a yoga retreat, cleaning cabins and basically anything else that we were asked to help with! We have met some very interesting and good people along the way and we are enjoying learning as much as possible.

We have only really just heard about couch surfing and like the idea of this community and that is based on helping other people out and sharing your space. Its a great way to meet new people who know the area. We hope to be able to return the favour when we one day have somewhere that we can offer couch surfers to stay in again in Scotland!
