I am tired of work, work, work,, I am taking my 19 yr old daughter to Italy! I am Italian and have never been there.. We love 2nd hand stores, art, history, hiking,shopping for funky clothes and meeting new people..

ABOUT ME

Hi world.. I am a single mom to a great girl. I want to show her some of the world before she fly's away. We both have similar interests and are easy going with good sense of humor. Corinne is a student at a local college. We are celebrating excellent grades and just being able to do this. We live in in Sonoma county California. Heart of the wine country. We have a small home, 4 dogs..and lots of fun. We love outdoors, gardening, adventure..I was born in New York but have lived in California for 23 years..I love the weather and the vibe of California..

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Not sure how participate is applied.. but I will assume it means as a human being.. I volunteer, love animals so I do dog rescue.I volunteer at schools even though my daughter graduated. I like people and try to have good Karma..

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have never "couch surfed".. but what intrigued me was an experience. I had in the 70's. I hitchhiked across America. I met all sorts of people. Had dinner with strangers, worked odd jobs. Now that's a story! Tried to fix me up with their sons. Real life with real people.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like historical fiction, Classics. Adventure, biographies. Books well written. All Kinds of music. Rock ,Country. Bruce Springsteen, Allman brothers and Frank Sinatra are in my car right now. Love the movies, One of my favorites is Benjamin Button. A life lived backwards is fascinating to me. So many really.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am a certified Master Gardener, I love planting gardens that attract wildlife. Butterflies, bee's, birds. I am pretty handy with tools and like to fix things. I would like to learn art history and appreciation..
