ABOUT ME

Neil: We'd love to get traveling, and this will hopefully happen next year, however at the moment we're just jobbing on paying bills and keeping the ship afloat.

In 2009 we spent a year teaching English in South Korea, which made me realise there's a big world out there that I want to see.

We live in a lovely little cottage by the river in the North East of England and are fairly easy going. We've joined Coachsurfing because we thought that while we pulled things together for our own travels it would be nice to help other travelers working on a budget.

Lynda: I'm trained as a Holistic Therapist and would like to do that full time again. I'm interested in traveling, however we don't have the funds at the moment. I've worked overseas and did the whole backpacker thing when I was younger so would love to play host to someone in the same position. I love our little house by the river. It's beautiful and surrounded by nature. We share our house with Tarot the black cat. She's quite aloof at first but friendly when you get to know her. I'm also known for baking the occasional pie and cake!
