ABOUT ME

I would like to think people find me willing to help and generally eager to learn. I can learn quickly, but I'm not the most practical of people. What do you expect from a theoretical physicist?
I also like to try new things, explore new worlds, even if I might not be the bravest of people. That being said, if not in the right mood I can be very shy.
I can be very single minded, pondering over a single problem for hours if I think there is a solution. This might make me seem distant and aloof. I apologise for that. I don’t mean it.

兴趣

I am a big fan of science of all fields, but particularly dynamical system. Originating with a background in physics, meteorology and fluid dynamics.
I also really enjoy swing and blues dancing, reading books and manga (physiological thrillers and comedy particularly), watching anime (from Hellsing to the Irresponsible Captain Tyler), listening to music (of all shapes and forms), and playing video games (like Myst, Harvest Moon, Resident Evil, MegaMan, Sonic, Zork, etc.).
I would like to think I have hobbies of photography, and origami. However I have been less active in these regions then I would like of recently.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I had my 10th Birthday in Sri Lanka. I would never forget exploring old ruined temples and palaces, the different culture, the history amazed me.
More recently, I went to Dhulikhel in Nepal to help install a X-ray machine as part of a Rotary voulenteer project. I was there a little over 2 weeks, but by the end we, the team, were treated like part of the community. We knew the local retailers, and had made lots of friends. It was an amazing place and experience.
I have since also helped maintain an X-ray machine in Suva, Fiji and installed another in Anuradhapura, Sri lanka.
