ABOUT ME

Uf... a description of me. I think I'm outgoing, talkative and (try to be =P) funny. I don't smoke and don't do drugs, including alcohol.
I've been vegan for several years now, and it has to do with what I've written below (in the philosophical part). This decision has affected the way I see everything around me, from people, to society, to music, to many other things, that I've become also an animal rights activist, organizing and taking part in demonstrations, conferences and other events about animal rights. Of course, I also engage in other movements such as feminism, since in my opinion, the base of the problem of patriarchy and sexism is the same as in speciesism.

I like to think, debate, travel, read, listen to music... I play piano and a bit of tin whistle, and I love singing.
I love animals too (I'm usually very interested in learning as much as I can of nature and animals of any kind), the rain, familiar meetings, languages, northern cultures and so so on.

At the moment, I live in Barcelona working as a vet nurse and occasionally as a piercer, and previously I've worked as a translator in a patent translation company, because I've studied Translation and Interpreting specialized in German, at the University of Alicante, a veterinary nurse course in Bilbao and also a piercing course.

PHILOSOPHY

Think before speaking.

There's a question I have lately in mind: "Why?" Why do I do this, or why this or that is happening... I always try to wonder, because I think it's a very useful exercise to get to know yourself better, and to build your own personality and your own point of view about the world and the things you have around.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Up to now, I've surfed in several cities in Norway (Tromsø, Oslo, Bergen and Stavanger) and Germany (Mainz, Koblenz, Hannover, Frankfurt, Würzburg...), also in London, south Sweden (Helsingborg and Simrishamn), Copenhagen and Bilbao.

On the other hand, I have also hosted several people, including a girl from Poland, three German girls and another three girls coming from different places in Spain.

Centres d'intérêt

Reading, learning languages (as many as I can), animals and nature, tattoos and piercings, music, knowing as many cultures as I can (most of all if they're from the north) and tasting as many foods as I can =D
