ABOUT ME

I live in a quirky, small sailing town in NC. Oriental is located on the Intracoastal Waterway, so I often get to trade stories with sailors passing through. Though I love movement—whether by kayak, bicycle, motorcycle, car, airplane—this is where I'm happiest: sitting with a new friend, talking about our lives.

My dog Flora has been my traveling companion for the past seven years. We've lived in three states and traveled thousands of miles, but she's staying home this time. Though I lead kind of a quiet life on and off the road, I really treasure the people I meet along the way.
