I was Granite State Ambassador in NH, helping visitors discover the state (currently inactive).

PHILOSOPHY

To make the most of our time on this planet and to ensure its survival for future generations, we must care for it and all beings who inhabit it. I want to see and experience as much of it as I can.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I currently don't have a permanent address or couch to share, so my participation will be limited to surfing for a while until I find my new place in the sun.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've been surfing for a couple of years, on occastion, and once was able to host a surfer for 11 days. I enjoy meeting and staying with local people when I travel. I love to find out what it's like to live in a place. I've stayed with locals through both CS and Airbnb -- in California, all over Mexico, France, Italy, and the eastern US and have had positive experiences, with only a few minor issues.

Floating in a sparkling bioluminescent bay in Vieques, Puerto Rico, on a pitch-black night under a million stars. Exploring the pyramids and ruins of Mexico's ancient Mayan civilizations and swimming in clear, blue underground cenotes. Sipping a superb Pinot Noir paired with a delectable beef bourguignon served in a traditional "worker's lunchbox" in Dijon, France.
