ABOUT ME

Hello! I'm Lynn and I travel and work around the United States with my little dog, Maggie.

Last year when I was living in Durham, NC, I start having the nagging feeling like I am missing something and that I should be living my life differently, but I wasn't sure what that meant. Instead of spending months contemplating what I should do about those feelings, I decide to go with my gut instinct that tells me to take to the road. I'm incredibly fortunate and grateful to work for a company that allows me this nomadic lifestyle since I wouldn't be able to do this otherwise.

Other Stuff:-- I wake up pretty early most mornings and I like to spend a some time drinking coffee, writing and reading. This means I turn in relatively early unless something cool is happening.
--I don't smoke, but don't mind other people who do (oddly enough the smell reminds me of my childhood)
--My idea of a good time is going to an indie/folk show at a smaller venue, grabbing a beer/glass of wine, good conversation, grabbing another glass of wine and singing in the streets on the way home.
--I'm terrible with directions, comically so.

PHILOSOPHY

Do it because it makes you happy. Don't stop trying to find happiness even if it means starting over again and again.

Books: I mostly like non-fiction books, something about the realness of it all appeals to me more than fiction.

I hiked the John Muir Trail last year (200-ish mile trail from Yosemite to Mt. Whitney. It was the best thing I've ever done.
