We are Lynn and Robert, both from Hardenberg, a small town in the east of the Netherlands. The last few years we have traveled to several countries together, but we felt restricted travelling with a backpack, depending on the local transport system and on other people while hitchhiking. That's when we found out we could also travel by bicycle. So in January 2018 we left our home and cycled to Singapore in 15 months. After that we cycled from Canada to Mexico and across Colombia and Ecuador. What we love most about cycling is being outdoors, the feeling of freedom and getting to know the local people and life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We look forward to meet people on our way. We are open-minded, easy going and love to exchange stories. It would be wonderful to have some more insight into the people, life, and countries that we are cycling through. The moments inside people's homes and connecting with them are our favourite memories.
