ABOUT ME

In the summer of 2008, I finished my backpacking excursion around Europe. It was a wonderful experience.. Couchsurfing is the major way how I met such wonderful people while on my trip. I had hosts in Holland, France, and Italy. It was all amazing and I can't wait until I can couch surf again. If you want to hear stories, just ask! Every new trip opportunity is a new chance for me to meet new people and share my experiences..

PHILOSOPHY

You live and learn. While you live you mine as well do what you want and give life a chance. You never know what will come about when you enter into the unknown.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I couchsurfed all through Europe and was able to meet wonderful people. I am willing to host or be a tour guide. I have a busy schedule and a roomie, but hopefully hope to host soon!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I was hosted by people in Woerdon and Utrecht, Holland... Melun and Paris (the outskirts), France... and Rome, Italy. These people took me around the cities they hosted me in and did far more than I ever thought was possible. I had such an amazing experiences that all I can do is brag about my experiences. I will use couchsurfing in the future and hope others can find experiences with me as I found with others.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My whole trip was awesome...

~ I saw Holland for the first time
~ I stood at the base of the Eiffel Tower
~ I saw the Paris skyline with the gargoyles of Notre Dame
~ I saw the Mona Lisa as well as many other amazing artifacts
~ I went to the Louvre!
~ I walked the streets of Amsterdam, Paris, London, Dublin, Zurich, and Rome
~ I cried at the Anne Frank House
~ I went to the Palace of Versailles
~ I saw the history of London
~ I went on a pub crawl in Dublin
~ I traveled for three days straight before I reached Rome
~ I went to the sea side of Italy!
~ I experienced history through the ruins and remains in the city of Rome

I met amazing people that have changed my life for ever

Teach, Learn, Share

Couchsurf. Don't be afraid. I was hestitant at first but it was all quickly washed away with my first host. From there on, things only got better. I learned so much about other people's cultures. I wasn't afraid to ask questions and hoped that they would as well. I am going to be a teacher in the near future and never realized how much this experience has taught me about other cultures and about my own. You can only learn from your experiences and luckily and had such positive outcomes with my travels. If you have any questions, just ask.
