HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I was preparing some food for dinner the other night. A nice spring salad with cranberies and a sweet sauce on top. While looking out my kitchen window, I noticed a man walking, with his dog. The man looked to be the traveling type, perhaps he had come across hard times along the way. I went outside with a beer, and offered him one. He said he did not drink, but that his dog was thirsty. My friend went in and gave the dog a bowl of water. I offered the man some dinner, and he said he wasn't hungry. He said he was on his way to California, and left.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

This past summer, I lived in Denver for about a week before I went on to do some seasonal work I had arranged in Southwest Colorado. While in Denver, I stayed at a friends house. She worked, and I lived. I borrowed her bike and saw every corner of the city. From panhandling and eating in rat infested soup kitchens to dining out and having drinks with a tye on. I saw and became Denver, Colorado. I am forever in debt to my Denver kids, much love to them.
