Hi, I'm Alyssa. I find myself to be a pretty normal 19 year old. I'm a college dropout (though I may go back one day) who is trying to figure out what I really wanna do with my life. I like writing, plants and animals, and traveling. I'm currently on a road trip with my best friend Kynna. We left from NY and are working our way down around Florida and across the south to end in Los Angeles. We are hoping to meet some amazing people and couch surf along the way.

I want to travel and expose myself to new people and new cultures to get a better view of life and the world. I feel like Couchsurfing is a great way to do just that. I've heard a lot of great things about the site and thought I'd give it a shot.

Intereses

As, I stated above, I love writing. I also enjoy drawing, trying new things- whether that be sports or languages or food, and getting to know people. I'm quite shy when I first meet people, however once I open up, I love talking.

I listen to everything under the sun. If it can put me in a good mood or make me wanna dance, I'll listen. As for movies, I love indie films, documentaries, and horror movies. And my two favorite books are 'Into the Wild' and 'Tuesdays with Morrie', though I like to read a lot.

I love learning no matter what it's about. I think there's always more to learn. That's why a big reason why I'm here. In my opinion, you can learn more from people and traveling than you can from a textbook. Plus, you can share what you've learned too.
