About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I've always wanted to be az adventurer.

ABOUT ME

I haven't been good in describing myself since kindergarten, so here's my best effort. I'm studying neurobiology and life sciences in elte, Budapest, and honestly i can't think of any subject right now which I'm not interested in, especially if described with enthusiasm. While traveling I'd like to see the country's natural habitats, flora and fauna as well as the places that the people who live there find unique and worthy enough to show and talk about.
Also, I might be the kind of person who sometimes comes home at 1 am after spending hours with talking and walking on the street with a friend while drumming on a freshly aquired starsquash. I don't smoke and I only drink with good company.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I live and study in Budapest so I can give you information about the city, maybe go sightseeing or hiking somewhere nearby. If I'm home, I'm usually online a lot, so you can contact me if you want some help or information.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

This summer will be the first time I go on a longer trip hitchhiking with a friend abroad and I'm looking forward to meet new people via couchsurfing.

Interests

hiking, seeing (but not collecting) as much of the local flora and fauna as I can, tabletop RPGs, weird board games, neurobiology and behavioral sciences, fantasy and scifi literature and other media, mithology, urban legends, internet culture, drawing, making wirewrapped and other jewelry, anime and manga, webcomics, survival skills (I wish I've had those), bad puns and chemistry jokes

Music, Movies, and Books

There are two kinds of movies I enjoy. The first type includes the ones I have to think about, full of plot twist, hidden meanings, the ones that fuel hours-long conversations after watching. The second type: tear inducingly bad horror movies (fueling entirely different kind of conversations).

My taste in music quite diverse: I love all kinds of metal, rock and punk, but I enjoy folk and chillout too and because of the hours of listening to chillstep in exam period, my preferences broadened with electronic music.

I usually read books of the scifi or fantasy genre, but I love stories with unique storytelling or world describing in general. I believe the books I read as a teenager (e.g. the writings of Tolkien and the His dark materials series) made me who I am today and wouldn't met my dearest friends without the Harry Potter books.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Well, I think I made a fairly accurate description of myself, if that counts. Cheers.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm not really confident in my teaching skills, but I could teach you some diy stuff, e.g. cobra weaving or the basics of wirewrapping. I also used to play the flute and I plan to relearn that in this summer.
