ABOUT ME

My name is Lyubo, I am 35 years old guy from Sofia, Bulgaria. I used to work as a consultant and auditor, but my passions are completely different, so I quit my job and decided to pack a small bag and hit the road so I can see with my eyes how amazing is our planet. I already spend some years traveling the world and now since the borders are opening again I am on my way to a new trip around our planet that will hopefully gonna last few more years. I love to explore new places, make new friends and learn more about different cultures, lifestyles and wisdoms. My goal is to explore the world as much as possible, witness its natural beauties, learn more about the different traditions, cultures and lifestyle of the people.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I spent few years traveling around the world and so far I used CS in many countries in Europe and Asia. All of the people I met through Couchsurfing were awesome, with some of them I spend some time exploring, some of them I met in Couchsurfing events, some of them hosted me. But for sure I can say that people with passion in travel and nature are always great to meet and usually I have some great talks, sharing thoughts and experience with people i meet trough CS, while on the road! So I am really looking forward to meet some nice people in my current journey around the world.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

In the time I spent traveling I had amazing experience with using couchsurfing! Met awesome people, learned great things and had the chance to explore beautiful places!

Traveling, hiking, swimming, spending time around nature, meeting new friends, share and learn experience and wisdom from others, listening to nice music, taking part of social projects, volunteering, sailing, riding bike, snowboarding, laughing.....And mostly I really like animals, like all type pets and wild ones :D

They are so many, but the ones that most inspired me to travel were the books of Mike Horn, in my opinion the greatest adventurer and explorer today.

I guess that would be the fact that I quit my job and went to travel and explore the world, eventually that trip lasted for years and its still continuing!

Sometimes I am volunteering and teaching English to kids in Asian villages. I am trying to learn Spanish now, cause I plan to travel around Central and South America soon.

Most of all I can share stories, about my travels and life passions. I believe that sharing is great, makes us feel closer to the persons, with which we communicate. And of course I am very interested in listening, about stories, dreams and passions.
