ABOUT ME

I was raised on a farm (which I adore). After school, I studied and worked in different cities (London, Naples, Munich, San Francisco, etc.). I have been living in Hamburg for the last five years. I just might stay here.

PHILOSOPHY

I do not have one. I try to live in the present. Happiness has nothing to do with possession of material goods but with the way you look on life.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have couchsurfed from coast to coast in the US in 2010. Couchsurfed in New Zealand in 2011. I have hosted in Hamburg and on the family farm in Lower Saxony.

I work full time. Unfortunately, that does not leave a lot of time for couchsurfing.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Had the best time in California surfing on couches of very cool and amazing hosts. Next thing, had an amazing time couchsurfing from San Francisco to Miami riding a 29 year old motorcycle. When people saw that bike they used to say "wow, you're crazy/you're brave" but probably meant "man, you can kill yourself with that". Haha.

兴趣

I would like to do gardening, beekeeping and unicyling. Maybe one day, I'll overcome my lazyness... In the meanwhile, I dance Salsa (I also have some teaching skills if you're interested), do sports, read books, meet with friends. I must confess, I also like my work very much (if you want to guess: most people think I use a hammer at work, but in fact I do not).
