Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to meet new people during my travels, as I am much more interested in people and their culture than sightseeing surrounded by thousands of other tourists.

Interests

Cryptography -- well I am doing a PhD in this field of Computer Science;

Contemporary Art -- generally, but especially paintings -- Richter, Tuymans, Bacon;

Photography -- Jeff Wall, Thorsten Brinckmann, Dusseldorf school; I have finished 2 year school on photography.

Literature -- classics -- Nabokov, Mann, Hemingway, Faulkner, Lem, Gombrowicz etc. and crime fiction as well -- Miłoszewski, Seversky, Krajewski;

Music -- if the record is released by ECM it must be good :D

Cinema -- old italian movies -- Fellini, Pasolini; and many, many more!

additionaly I run (I have done half-marathon) and train muay-thai (on beginers level)
