About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Travelling through Latin America the slowest possible way.

ABOUT ME

It is hard to describe yourself...but I guess that my friends would say that I am an open, easy going and confident guy. I have very strong convincement about sustainability, that I consider my main and principal guidline for my life. But the balance of ecological, economical and social aspects sometimes is hard to find...So I accept and understand that there are many other lifestyles or ways of living. I just think that the freedom of yourself just ends where it diminishes the freedom of others - but: be yourself the change you wanna see!
Before getting too serious or philosophical I just wanna say that I love travelling and meeting people, have fun and one or two beers...rather two than one...

Interests

I guess there are two things I enjoy most: music and nature. I love spending time in nature, most off all the mountains are a real passion of mine. Hiking, climbing, camping, skitouring or just beeing there and enjoy the silence. On the other hand I love music and I am always eager to get known to new music I did not know before. I play the guitar, not that well, but it is fun for me and I mostly travel with a guitar.
Besides that I like literature, cooking - and eating of course!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

During my ongoing journey to and through Latin America I tried to hitch hike sailboats from Europe to cross the Atlantic - I only made it half way from Spain to the Azores, but it was a great experience. Finally reaching Lating America travelling from Mexico to South America and meeting so many nice people, learn about their culture and practicing my Spanish is a second great thing that really changed me during the last months. Finally, with climbing Cotopaxi in Ecuador I could fulfill a dream of many years, but also the Venezoelan Andes impressed me a lot. There are many things more to say, and it is hard to make an order...these are just three experiences that came to my mind first, with many coming after...
