ABOUT ME

I was born in Sydney but moved to UK quite young. I've returned to Australia many times for holidays and travelling, as well as some of S.E Asia in between. I now live here permanently and love the Queensland lifestyle!

I lived in Melbourne for 18 months and traveled around the country for work, but am now based in Brisbane and settling as it has always been a favourite of mine. In prior years I worked and lived in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Spain, and UK.

I like the idea of being able to help other out who might be new to somewhere, in an emergency situation or on a tight budget.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've hosted once in Fremantle, WA. Not surfed yet. Given a couple of ride from Melbourne to Brisbane for free. I'm overly generous sometimes.

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to music all the time, every day and every night I have to fall asleep to something. I like lots of different music, indie & alternative when alone but when out electronic, dance, house, r&b, anything really apart from grunge & heavy rock!

Books...I don't as read as much as I should. Something I'm looking to improve on.

Movies...Partial to a rom com, and a bit of action. I'm catching up on new releases when I can.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've seen some great things on my travels, but one thing I really liked doing was helping teach English at an orphanage in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. I could actually see how my contribution was helping other people. I found it the best way to donate and will carry on giving and visiting throughout my life to the organisation there.

Teach, Learn, Share

I tried teaching and I wasn't so good at it lol. I'd like to learn a language but don't have the time to study.
I learn all the time, and love knowledge of different things, lots of reading articles, TED Talks.
I educate students in school about the industry I work in, it helps a lot for my own personal development.
