ABOUT ME

I grew up moving around the NW part of the U.S. By the age of 22 I had moved 22 times this being due to my dad's occupation as a geologist. As a result of my growing up experiences, I have come to appreciate and love visiting new places, meeting new people, and learning new things. I love being outside and exploring the fascinating world in which we live. From a young age I harbored a vivid imagination, which has been fueled by my amazing, creative family. I consider myself a positive-realist and have a bit of a philosopher's quirk in my soul;)

PHILOSOPHY

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've been pretty busy with graduate school and now medical school so I haven't been able to participate in the CS community as much as I'd like, but hope to do lots more in the future.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Have had just one couch-surfing experience, which was truly wonderful! Have not had the opportunity to host other couch-surfers, but I look forward to doing so in the future:)

Interests

I love to be outside! Where I'm from we have a lot of rain, which we call liquid sunshine--I don't mind the rain though because it makes everything a green paradise! I enjoy kayaking, rock-climbing, volleyball, swimming, hiking, roller-blading, snorkeling, and hope to soon get my scuba-diving certification.

Music, Movies, and Books

MOVIES: I enjoy comedy, fantasy, history, musicals, and movies that make the viewer think. Not a fan of long, sappy drama or horror films.

MUSIC: I listen to a wide variety music and enjoy discovering new sounds from other cultures.

BOOKS: I love to read and there are too many 'favorite' authors and books to name... Currently reading the Wheel of Time prequel, New Spring.
