About Me

Easy-going, open-minded, very international, and genuinely interested in other cultures.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I use Couchsurfing to meet local people, share experiences, and exchange travel stories, because I believe it’s the best way to discover different cultures. Staying in a boring hotel doesn’t help you connect with the local community. I’m a curious person who loves learning from others and making real connections.

The first time I used CS was in Kyoto in 2012—it literally saved my trip, since there was no accommodation available, and it ended up being one of my most memorable experiences. The same happened in Ghana: thanks to Couchsurfing, I connected with the local community and gained a much deeper understanding of what was happening around me. My trip to Ghana is still my favorite trip ever!

What I Can Share with Hosts

A clean and comfortable place to discover an amazing city like Shanghai. I might be able to join you for a drink or some food, depending on my work schedule. I’ve been in China long enough to introduce you to a culture that’s very different but incredibly interesting. I’m happy to share useful tips to help you get around and make the most of your visit.

My apartment is in a great location—just a five-minute walk to the subway. The space is a bit small, like most places in Shanghai, and it has a living room, a main bedroom, a small patio, and a compact bathroom. I don’t have a TV, but I do have Wi-Fi :)
