Hey folks, since I enjoyed couchsurfing as a guest on some of my trips I want to give back to the community and also host travelers from around the world who visit Mainz or the Rhine-Main area.

I'm very outdoorsy and like to be active; climbing at the nearby crags or in the gym, running by the river and taking my roadbike for a spin in the hills close to Mainz. I also developed a passion for electronic music and like to dance all night long in a club or outside at some open air party or festival in summer.

And don't worry, I also enjoy and need some more quiet hours....cooking, movies, reading, relaxing in the park, having a good chat over a glass of wine....these kinds of things.

So, bring a climbing harness and your running shoes or a glass and a good bottle of wine ;)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Walked into a Grizzly with her two cubs in the Kluane NP. After staring at each other in disbelief for about a minute I backed off and watched these amazing animals play in the sun.
