About Me
I’m out of the country, will start hosting from October 2024
Hello, Im Alejandra, a Mexican girl traveling around here and there.
Little info about me:
I am from Monterrey, north Mexico. Im taking a year gap to travel, explore and be surprised by what life wants to bring to me. After this travels I will be back to Los Angeles and focus on my film career.
Unexpectedly but grateful for it, people that I have meet has added more good things than bad and I would love to keep having the opportunity to meet amazing people. I am really grateful for each soul I have met.
I graduated from Arts and I have done some work in different projects for a few years, as well as an art teacher in a middle school. Now I’m focused on my photography projects and screenplays. Although I really enjoy my professional area, I value my evolution as a human being much more and it is my top priority, I am in a constant search to grow, heal, be a better person, help others and as I travel I find a more conscious perspective of what really matters in life.
Im an adventurous person, artistic, easy going, creative, optimistic, always trying to find a solution when its necessary, help others, Im a friendly person, and I am open to learn, share and help. Good listener as well.
I am working on my travel photography book, where I would love to show all the places, I visit, the culture, people so that other people can gain insight and interest from the world that is probably unknown or uncommon to know about.
Vegetarian.

I am pretty interested in cultural anthropology (still don’t know nothing) and photojournalism, I’m trying to convince myself to not risk my life and go to conflict areas, but I wouldn’t be me; if any of you have contact with press media or ngos it would be very helpful to know how to start and introduce me into the field. Thank you*
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I started using CS when I made my exchange in Madrid, my roommates and I hosted some travelers, with others we went out to parties and walked around the city, it was always fun.
I keep using the app because anytime I’m traveling I like to connect with local people to feel I am one of them. I don’t really like to be walking around the whole city all day just to see touristic spots that are fully crowded. I like to spend quality time with my host and their friends (whenever there is a chance) and get to know about the culture and their people.
You will have a place in México and LA.
