ABOUT ME

In short, I am an open-minded person, love nature and sports. Originally I am from Germany, but I live in Switzerland for many years. I like to meet people from different countries and had already many very nice experiences with CS guests. CS is really great!

Just ask if you are planning to visit Bern and need a place to stay. I am not living in the city center but in nearby. It is a quiet neighbourhood, and public transport connections to Bern main station are good. I answer all couch requests but cannot guarantee immediate response.

Pleas note: In summer, I receive many requests, asking for your understanding that I cannot accept all. If I accept, please confirm in due time. You can communicate in English, German or French. If you travel by hitchhiking tell me this immediately.

During summertime I am usually somewhat busy. I prefer to host people for two or three days.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Offering a couch and guided tours to the city and (sometimes) to the mountains. I can give you information on interesting places to see in Bern and the mountains.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Already had quite a lot of CS guest from Europe, the Americas, Asia and Australia/NZ so far. Lots of fun and interesting people!

Interessi

Lepidoptera are my passion, but I also like sports (running, swimming, mountain bike, inlineskating, hiking, and different snowsports).

Of course, I do also travelling and visiting friends. Cultural activities - e.g. reading and music - are also very important for me.
