Overview
About Me
I do yoga or meditate almost everyday, am very conscious about what I put in my body and tbh a little bit obsessed with vegan food ;). After high school in Holland, I went to Denmark to go wwoofing for 4 months at a vegan school/farm. When I got back, I worked in a vegan café, a regular restaurant and volunteered at an arthouse cinema! Now I'm studying Liberal Arts and Sciences in Utrecht. Although I feel satisfied learning new things, I really miss my freedom and seeing the world!! Last summer, I did a Vipassana course in Morocco and hitchhiked to see a bit more of the country. I hope to meet a lot of cool, new people who can teach me about travelling and life in general!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I really love the initiative of staying with people for free: so that it's a lot easier to get to know each other and the city. I would love to get to know other countries and cultures, and I think the best way to do that is to get to know locals and blend into daily life routines :)

Music, Movies, and Books
I am really up for almost anything, from The Beatles to Nena, from Joni Mitchell to Blood Orange, from Alt-J to The Red Hot Chili Peppers! The same goes for movies: I literally watch anything. But I do love those arthouse-ish movies like 'Little Miss Sunshine' a lot! 21st century women, Lady Bird, Noces, the list goes on and on!For books: I love to ferret in second hand stores to find good-looking books (yes, I dó judge them by their covers). Random grab from my book shelf: The Kite Runner, Shantaram, Sophie's World, The Help, Julie and Julia.. And some Dutch classics ;)

Teach, Learn, Share
I could teach you a lot of things about vegan food! I'm really passionate about making delicious plant-based meals and would love to teach you basic stuff to eat a little bit more conscious and sustainable. I also know some basic yoga and ayurveda stuff. Of course I could also teach you some Dutch. I would love to learn some more about the vegan food your city/country/culture offers! And to learn how to be able to make that would be awesome. Also I am very open to learning anything you think would be valuable to teach me :)
What I Can Share with Hosts
Of course my experiences so far, but I would also love to cook a delicious vegan meal for you, or teach you a few words in Dutch (or German, Danish or French)! We could do some yoga together or I could teach you some basic ayurvedic recipes :)
