I am currently teaching guitar at two schools on an Estonian island. I have been studying traditional music since 2015 (main instruments have been the guitar and the Estonian bagpipes), during which time I also spent a semester studying in Limerick, Ireland. I am quite curious which is why have a wide range of interests (from science to arts and humanities). I will start a Computer Science degree from September 2019.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am couchsurfing to meet new people in places I am visiting. First of all, I find it a great way of finding out the nice places locals enjoy rather than seeing only the tourist oriented places. Second of all, I like sharing my own culture whether it be stories or tunes (I might get too excited when asked to play some Estonian trad).

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite music is a mixture of old archive recordings, living people imitating those recordings, indie pop, bluegrass, and so on. I am a big lover of Mumford and Sons.
