I'm currently living in a small village near Haarlem with my roommate. At this moment I don't have the possibility to host people but I would like to in the near future. I am always open to meet new people though. So if you are around and need someone to show you around or just have a cup of coffee with please hit me up! I must say however that I do not feel the need to talk with people from around the world which whom it is likely we are not gonna meet up, nor do I see couchsurfing as a datingsite. It might feel unnessesary that I put his here but not everyone thinks this way so I felt the need to communicate this in advance.

A bit about myself:

I am currently in a space where I am opening myself a bit to the world. Although it is quite new for me to attempt fun things and trips on my own I am quite exited about it and am planning to do some cirytrips now and then and meet up with interesting people. Please note that I'm quite good in cooking magical meals so if you host me someday I might prepare something tasty.

I enjoy deep conversations about life, (neuro)psychology or music. But pointless conversations can be fun too at times.

In my free time I love walking through the park or forest when I have the change and clear my mind this way. I like nature/being outside A LOT and I appreciate every season chaging, although I think the beginning of autumn in my favorite. Watching a good movie or read a book is also something I really enjoy. Other hobbies include hula hooping, playing the ukulele and I hope to pick up drawing again soon.

Integrity, honesty and openmindedness (judgefree) are three values that mean a lot to me. I look for this in people and try to live up to those myself as much as possible.
I find it important that people are allowed to be themselves and kindof dislike putting labels on everything when it doesn't matter.

While I'm unable to host at the moment, I'd be more than happy to show you around the city, helping you discover its hidden gems away from the typical tourist spots. I'm always up for engaging conversations or watching a good movie.

I have quite a wide taste in music. My preferences mainly revolve around classic rock and (black) metal genres, though reggae and jazz also have the power to lift my spirits.

When it comes to movies, my all-time favorite is 'Pan's Labyrinth.' I'm drawn to films with intriguing twists or psychological depth, preferably within a reasonable runtime – anything over two hours tends to lose my attention.

My favorite writer is Paulo Coelho. While many are familiar with 'The Alchemist,' I've also found enjoyment in several other works by him. Currently, I'm immersed in 'A Deadly Education' by Naomi Novik, which I'm also thoroughly enjoying.

Additionally, I can offer insights into the world of web development. My approach to sharing knowledge is often spontaneous, sparked by our conversations. I'm particularly drawn to subjects like self-improvement. I believe that in every interaction, there's an opportunity for mutual learning and growth between individuals.
