Learn to scuba dive and to play tennis. Travel as much as I can before starting a new job and dust off my French and Spanish.

ABOUT ME

Hi, I'm Martyna, I live and work in London. As probably everyone here I love travelling. I wish I had more time for it! When I go to a new place I enjoy discovering what the life and culture is like there and to meet people who live there. I also love going to places with great natural scenery.
I was born and bred in Poland, then at 19 I moved out to study in London and stayed there since. I also did a 1-year long student exchange in Spain.

To meet local residents in places where I am travelling to and to meet up with travellers and show them around the city I live in.

Intereses

Hiking, going to gym classes, discovering new spots in London and reading (when I have time).
I love water sports and I would like to try as many of them as possible, in particular scuba diving.
I enjoy musicals, music festivals (I recommend Open'er Fetival in Poland) and live gigs

Música, películas y libros

Movies: so many there's no point listing them ;) I prefer thrillers, dramas, but I also enjoy a good comedy.

Music - I listen to many genres but some of my favourite bands and singers include Franz Ferdinand, The XX, Lana del Rey, Arctic Monkeys, Florence and the Machine, Buena Vista Social Club, etc.

Books: some of the ones I particularly liked include Story of a Secret State, Philomena, Never Let Me Go, The Last King of Scotland, Desert Flower, The Help, Rosewater, Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, The Hunger Games, various travel journals. I just wish I had more time to read

Algo increíble que he hecho

Snorkelling above underwater museum near Isla Mujeres in Mexico, the experience was just unforgettable (I can only imagine how great scuba diving would be there!)
