ABOUT ME

I'm a database programmer, I generally work on weekdays, and often travel on weekends, so I can host you mostly on weekdays.
I played basketball for 13 years, but I'm a big football fan too :) But I'm not some kind of fanatic football hooligan, I love the game itself, the tricks, smart dribbles and clever goals. ;)
I'm socially sensible, I hate to see homeless people living in the streets in the cold, I hate violence, and many things that make people unhappy.
I love animals, I have an old malamut dog, but she lives with my parents.
I can't give you keys, I hope you can understand this, and it means that you must leave when I leave in the morning, and you can come back when I'm home again.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I was always interested in travelling, and with the help of this community it's much easier to visit new places, get new experiences, and know interesting people from all over the world.
And also this is a great opportunity to practice and improve my language knowledge.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've already hosted cool guys from Germany and South Korea, Italy and Russia, and I'm looking for the opportunity to host many more people :) But the best experience for me was visiting Madrid where a kind spanish girl hosted me, and took me in a bar to sing traditional spanish song :)
And, of course I would like to discover other coutries and see more and more wonderful places...

sports (football, basketball, NFL), movies, music, culture (I like exhibitions, paintings - mostly impressionism) I've been in the Prado in Madrid, the Louvre in Paris, the National Gallery in London, and seen fantastic paintings... and some terrible too :)

Music: GNR, Sting, Aerosmith, Bon Jovi, Mike Oldfield, U2, Phantom of the Opera musical, different movie soundtracks, and sometimes classic music (Rossini, Mozart).. and a lot more :)
