ABOUT ME

Probably quite typically British in that i'm not very good at defining myself!

I can say with some certainty though that I am very laid back and can always get on with the vast majority of people. I'm also extremely excited about being at a point where I have the opportunity to travel and experience new people and places and everything that goes with it.

Currently planning a trip to the U.S. and Canada this autumn, can't wait!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Sadly can't host at the moment but more than happy to once I've got my own place sorted.

Can only say that I will do my best to be a kind and considerate host :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

First time was when I was travelling across the states last Autumn.

Interests

Conversation, books, parties, listening to music, playing guitar/drums, movies, politics/debate.

Swimming, cycling, squash and badminton. Watching almost any sports.

Nature and the countryside, but also love the city of course.

Music, Movies, and Books

Huxley, Kafka, Hemingway, Orwell, Keats, Coleridge, Donne, Tolkien and Pratchett are the first I would say.

classic 20th century rock/punk etc etc, reggae, blues, world music, hip hop, classical - but really anything that has had something real put into it.

Films could be any but the first that come to mind are The Big Lebowski, Memento, La Haine, Metropolis, Leon.

I could teach you some rudimentary guitar or drums if you so wished. Or if we get talking for long enough I'm sure I'd end up babbling about something.
