Hi this is Mabel from Hong Kong, I have been living in Europe for 15 years or so. I found the following regions exotic: North Africa/Middle East, Communism (Russia, North Korea, GDR, etc.). But I prefer living in german speaking places because they are more organized and I like the language.

Many years ago a friend told me about Couchsurfing and she was totally impressed, 2 years ago another friend said almost the same thing. Finally, I would like to give it a try :-)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

After talking for many many years, I finally took the Trans-Siberian Express last summer. Visited Russia and Mongolia, met many cool people without understanding any Russian/Mongolian. Next time, I would travel further to the east and take the ferry to Japan/Korea :-)
