About Me
ABOUT ME
I'm a Scotsman from the city of Glasgow, where until recently I lived in the city centre and worked as a project manager in the construction industry.
I'm nearly 42 years old and have been enjoying the change of pace, new experiences and adventure since selling my home and giving up my job.
I travel less these days but feeling the travel bug creeping back up on me,
I'm very tidy, laid back and easy to get on with. Almost everything interests me and enjoy company and space on my own! A gift. I love to talk about everything in the world, and learn from the new people and experiences I encounter.
Looking forward to meeting new people, talking is my strength not writing!!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
There is no better way to experience a place than by sharing the home of a local. When travelling alone this is especially helpful and settling.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
My only experience so far remains one of the best travel experiences of my life. It has been over 5 years but i remain in touch with host, and guide who shared time with me. Special people and memories of their home town. I still to this day suggest Nantes to people i meet.

Music, Movies, and Books
Every kind of music I guess, jazz gives me some issues and obviously a huge proportion of the more mainstream "music" is best ignored. Leonard Cohen is who I return to for comfort so he tops this list.
Movies all have there charm, I can't watch a lot of old movies especially the early colour ones (don't ask why), films like Oldboy, Irreversible, Fifth Element, High Fidelity all come to mind now but that will change in minutes.
Books? Mmmm well at home i don't read books, more time spent reading articles and current affairs
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
