American but grew up all over the place due to my dad's job when I was younger. Haven't lived in the USA in about a decade. Returned Peace Corps Volunteer (served in Malawi 2019 until Covid). Former teacher of English as a foreign language in Japan and Hong Kong. Sober. Gay. Based in London, but working in South Sudan since 2021.

To meet people when abroad and, when possible, at home. Make connections, build relationships. I've hosted a few times and had really good experiences, and enjoy staying with people when I travel, too (get local suggestions, see things from a different perspective).
