I love to travel but it's too expensive and couchsurfing is an amazing way to expend less while meeting new people and cultures.
Also I think that having a local view of the cities is way more interesting than following a map or a turist guide.

Movies: Tarantino (all), Harry Potter, The Sound of Music, Snatch, Ocean's, Fight Club, The Godfather.

Books: All of Neil Gaiman, Harry Potter, Breakfast At Tiffanys, Ray Bradbury, Terry Pratchett, The Outsiders, Poe, Wilde. I read a lot and I'm always open to read new stuff.
