For my part, I travel not to go anywhere, but to go. I travel for travel’s sake. The great affair is to move.

ABOUT ME

I was born in the "city of Joy" (Calcutta, India) and hence, happiness runs in my veins. I love to be happy, especially when the going gets tough. Travelling, photography, painting and reading are my hobbies. I have lived in Gurgaon, India for 6 years when I got introduced to this wonderful forum of couchsurfing. Living in Delhi-Gurgaon was a fascinating experience, because I explored the most beautiful locales of Himachal Pradesh, Uttaranchal, Rajasthan during that time. Delhi being akin to a pit-stop to these destinations. Especially the majestic Himalayas being just an overnight journey.
I have moved to Halifax, Nova Scotia an Atlantic coastal city in Canada since 2011 – and have been enjoying the natural bounties of Canada since then. The trails, the ocean, the brooks, the greens are exactly what the doctor prescribed. It is pure bliss. I have explored eastern Canada, central Canada – and now raring to go and check out the Prairies and British Columbia.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

Learning about new culture, food, languages, meeting people is something I enjoy doing, other than travelling. I believe couchsurfing helps in openings these doors...

and I have couchsurfed, shared tents, walked an extra mile, travelled with fellow couchsurfers and experienced the finest joys of being an explorer. Look forward to newer and greater experiences!
