I'm just a girl trying to figure out how to direct my life. I want life to be healthy, beautiful, happy, and financially stable--and its hard to balance all of those at once! I'll make it happen if it takes the rest of my life though, one day at a time. I love psychology and feel like people are a great source for learning, both about oneself and any areas of interest they have, and perspectives they have to offer. Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I guess I just wanted as many options to be open as possible. I just graduated from high school and I want to meet some incredible people and go some incredible places. Maybe I'll have more inspiration then to more clearly define my currently bleary future plans.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like a little bit of everything, whatever makes you feel good. My music varies from hip hop to indie to grunge rock to reggae. Sublime, Dirty Heads, and Snoop Dogg are what I listen to most nowadays.

Books I read are mostly informative or how-tos to enrich my learning. I went through a Sci-fi phase too though, the ideas behind books like The Host and Eragon are so enthralling.

I'm not really big on movies, I like scary ones and I like cartoons. Favorite scary movie probably One Missed Call or Insidious (which was propaganda against astral projection....)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Well I graduated high school early with 40 college credits? Kind of great.

I stayed up all night with a lover who might've committed suicide if I didn't. Whats amazing to you?

Teach, Learn, Share

I want to learn about anything everything! I have particular interest in anything outdoorsy, from fishing and hunting to hiking and plant recognition. Would love to build some of my own primitive tools and other goods with natural resources, could both teach and learn some more about that. I know how to make homemade flour tortillas and wouldn't mind teaching someone (: I love to cook and want to learn about more cultures flavor blends and techniques, so I'd definitely watch you cook. I could probably show you a thing or two in return, or at least do all the dishes! I'm a novice guitarist, artist, and yogi, and could share what I know but am also looking for mentorship. Oh, and I'm a certified English tutor, so if you've got a paper, I'll show you the MLA way :D
