I'm an International Relations student from Poland. I can also call myself a humanist, since history and politics aren't my only interests from that field. Being into culture and art, wanting to visit new places and meet new people give me a solid reason to enter this app and try couchsurfing for the first time in my life. Id also describe myself as calm and respectful person.

Currently I'd like to travel to Rome with my girlfriend. We decided to try couchsurfing, since our budgets aren't too high and we're also always open to meet new people and spend time with them.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm a metal music lover, some of my recently favourite bands are: Kanonenfieber, Bathory, Patriarkh, Raubtier Linkin Park and Palaye Royale. So mostly black metal, but also other subgenres, even emo music. I also listen to a lot of movie and video game soundtracks, some ,,tribal folk", classical music and Twenty One Pilots lol. There's little genres that wouldn't at least catch my interest with a few songs.

Some of my favourite movies are: LOTR trilogy, All Quiet on The Western Front, Conclave, Mad God, The Lighthouse, Viking, Monty Python and The Holy Graal, Dune and Nuremberg. I also like Star Wars, used to be a huge fan for most of my childhood.

Most influential books that I've read: ,,Sapiens" by Yuval Noah Harari, ,,On War" by Carl von Clausewitz and ,,Third Decade" by Krzysztof Wojczal.

And some games: Arma 3, Hell Let Loose, Disco Elysium, many Total War titles, Europa Universalis IV, Mount and Blade.

I love sharing knowledge and viewpoints on various humanistic topics, mostly on my main interests, which are history, military history and politics, but also topics like culture, psychology, etc.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can make you a very decent teryaki chicken. Outside of that, while visitting another country I'd also like to meet its people and get to know them a little. I'm good both with having interesting/deep discussions at the tea table and with going out to some clubs, as well as anything in between.
