About Me

Hey! I’m 19 years old, born and raised in small city near Poznań, Poland, and right now I’m trying to make the most out of being young, curious and (almost) always broke 😅. That’s why hitchhiking and Couchsurfing are perfect for me – adventure, people, stories and the chance to see the world in the most real way possible.

I’m really into sports – football is my biggest love. I could play it all day, and when I’m not playing, I’m watching. Big Manchester City supporter here (so if you’re a United fan… don’t worry, we can still get along 😉). Sports keep me active, but what really drives me is traveling. Since turning 18 I’ve been on the road a lot, exploring new countries, meeting people, and realizing how much there is to learn outside of school.

Another passion of mine is geography. I’m a bit of a nerd when it comes to countries, maps, and flags – I can literally name every flag in the world. It sounds silly, but it also shows how curious I am about cultures and how excited I get about learning new things. My dream destinations are Uganda and Rwanda – I know a lot about their history and culture, and I’d love to finally experience them with my own eyes.

Right now, I’m on a hitchhiking trip from Poznań all the way down to Zadar, Croatia. Traveling this way isn’t always easy, but that’s what makes it fun – every day is different, and I never know who I’ll meet or where I’ll end up. That’s also why I love Couchsurfing: it’s not just about having a place to sleep, but about sharing moments with people I would have never met otherwise.

I might be young, but I’m responsible, grateful, and I don’t take hospitality for granted. Every time someone opens their home to me, it feels special, and I really appreciate it. Hopefully I can bring some good energy to your place too!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

For me, traveling isn’t just about seeing places – it’s about meeting people and experiencing their way of life. That’s why I love Couchsurfing. Hotels or hostels could never give me the same feeling as staying with someone local, sharing stories, and getting to know a culture from the inside.

Since I turned 18, I’ve been traveling as much as possible and the best memories I have always come from the people I met along the way. I’m curious about the world, passionate about geography, and I love exchanging experiences with others.

Couchsurfing feels like the perfect mix of adventure, human connection, and trust. It makes the journey more real and meaningful, and I’m excited to both learn from hosts and hopefully give something back. Whether it’s good company, football talk, a laugh, or just positive energy.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music is a big part of my travels – I listen to almost every genre, but right now I’m especially into artists like fakemink, Feng, and Esdeekid. At the same time, I also love stuff like Mac DeMarco, Yot Club, Tame Impala, and Bakar. My playlists are a bit all over the place, but that’s what keeps it fun.

Movies? Honestly, I don’t really watch a lot of them – I’d rather be outside, traveling or playing football. If you’ve got a favorite film though, I’m always down to check it out.

Books – this is where I spend more time. I mostly read about football: player biographies, stories about legendary matches, or books that go deeper into the culture of the game. For me, football is more than just a sport, it’s also a way of understanding people and communities.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I once placed 3rd in a kindergarten chess tournament. Yeah… probably my biggest achievement so far 🤓♟️. Still waiting for the day when I can finally add “climbed a mountain” or “traveled across Africa” to this section – but hey, we all start somewhere!

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach: I can teach you some Polish words (probably the funny or weird ones first 😅), tell you random geography facts, or explain why Manchester City is the best football club in the world (I can go on about this for hours). I can also show you every flag in the world – yes, it’s a real skill. And of course… I can teach you how to drink like a true Pole 🍻🇵🇱.

Learn: I love learning about local cultures, food, and traditions. Teach me how you cook your favorite dish, tell me about your city, or show me a cool spot that tourists don’t usually find. I’m also curious to learn bits of new languages along the way.

Share: Good vibes, stories from the road, laughs, and maybe even a little football game if there’s a ball around. I can also share some simple Polish food recipes (or at least try not to burn your kitchen while cooking). Mostly, I just enjoy sharing time and conversations with people.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Good company and good vibes – I’m easygoing, positive, and I enjoy meeting people from all walks of life.

Football chats (or even a little kickabout if you’re up for it!).

Random geography and travel facts – I promise I’ll surprise you at least once with a flag or story you didn’t know.

Stories from my trips – from funny adventures to little cultural differences I’ve noticed along the way.

Curiosity and respect – I’m here to learn, to listen, and to make the experience fun for both sides.
