Overview
About Me
I am an engineer working for a renewables developer. I basically buy and sell power plants with my team. I try to enjoy my life as much as I can and not fall into routine of a corporate life. Outside of work I enjoy sports and music. I wrestle frequently, sometimes go running or swimming. I go to the gym, if I have enough time. I used to sing in a punk rock band and book hard core concerts later on. Though nowadays I listen to classical music most often at home. There was also an episode in my life associated with film-making. I don't eat meat in everyday life. I live my life actively and take up new challenges eagerly. I don't want to waste the opportunities that life offers me.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I want to find budget ways of travelling and having an opportunity to interact with locals. The way you view a place that you visit is totally different depending on whether you stay in a five star hotel or with a local family.

Music, Movies, and Books
When it comes to music, there is too much to list. Mainly it is underground hard core, punk and oi. The list of my favourite books includes Clockwork Orange, 1984, Animal Farm, Aquarium. My favourite movies are Pusher (trilogy), Made in Britain, Cargo 200, Rise of the footsoldier, Cześć Tereska, Męska Sprawa, Farewell my concubine, Capernaum, American Beauty.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
There is a bunch of things that I could write here. Let's pick as the one that is most convenient to share the fact that I was parachuting at the age of 17 and had one interesting occurrence associated with it. When I was jumping alone for the fourth time, my parachute did not open and I had to open a spare one. This made my emotions rise. I was then close to landing on concrete instead of grass and risking breaking my legs. In the end I got out of this alive and healthy.
Teach, Learn, Share
The section "Teach, Learn, Share" is a bit confusing for me . I don't know, what to write here. I don't teach people anything. I don't tell people what to do. I just accept people as they are.
I might share information about the trends on energy markets. Though many might find it boring.
What I Can Share with Hosts
My company; my good sense of humour; stories from my other travels... and of course my couch and my shower.
