About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Explore China

ABOUT ME

Curiosity and the urge to explore the world around us are my two main features. I have grown up reading adventure books, dreaming about all those places far away, which are so tempting that one just has to visit them in a lifetime. Despite of that, I am a rather calm, down-to-earth person, enjoying everyday life as much as travelling. Having a cup of tea in a group of friends, listening to jazz music, or spending a whole night on a pointless discussion about the universe - I can do that anytime, always with pleasure:)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Right now I live in Leszno, small town in the middle between Wrocław and Poznań. I have a free guest room, waiting for anybody planning to visit my hometown (which is unfortunately not the best tourist destination out there) I can help you out in Poznań or Wrocław, too, show you some cheapest and best places, known only by students communities.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Not yet any, but many of my friends have been using couchsurfing and they are highly happy about their experience!

Interests

There's plenty out there! I really try to do a lot of things, probably too many to do them right. Right now, I'm mostly dedicated towards learning Chinese, playing the piano and figuring out how to take over the world :)

Music, Movies, and Books

Classical, jazz and classic rock music: Shostakovich, tchaikovsky, Chopin, Miles Davis, Frank Sinatra, Armstrong, just too many band or performers to write them here.
Books: everything written by Dostoyevsky, classical Polish writers, Tolkien, Lem.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My two months long stay in China has been by far the most impressive thing I have done in my life. I worked as a voluntary teacher in rural schools around Changsha, Hunan province. Seeing happiness in children's eyes, being able to show them even the smallest and tiniest piece of a different world is certainly a life-changer.

Countries I’ve Visited

Czech Republic, Germany, Italy
