我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I used to host as much as possible when I lived in Gdansk. I rarely surf but I like to do that from time to time. Until my living conditions don't change I can only grab a beer or show around.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

It's been great so far! I always feel a great deal of gratitude when I surf someone else's couch and try to make it up by bringing gifts and making myself useful around the house.
When I host I always want to spend time with surfers to get to know them. So reserve some time for me if you want to sleep under my roof!

1) movies: european stuff, sometimes Hollywood stuff, love a good documentary

2) music: rock, alternative, musical comedy and everything in between

3) books: I remember some good classics from school (like Dostoyevsky) but now I read some fantasy (The Witcher saga, The Song of Ice and Fire ) and to contarst it - reporting (ex. Wojciech Tochman - Polish reporter, he's awesome). I also read political commentary regularly.

I've spent a month living under tipi with no electricity and runnig water and then talked with Tori Amos about it.

I usually want to learn a little something about history of the other countries. Also get to know curiosities of your language. Then I explain how Polish language is terrifying and beautiful at the same time. Overall I think you should expect I'll ask a lot of questions about everything.
