I am a recent college graduate who pursued a Double Bachelor's Degree in Small Business Management/Entrepreneurship and Portuguese. I played rugby at my University and love great food, wine and company! I am a foodie and love to try the latest restaurant recommendation but also love to cook. I will be spending a few weeks throughout the month of September traveling within mainland Portugal. After this, I am planning to spend a year abroad in South Korea teaching English and I am very excited to explore a new part of the world!

I am on Couchsurfing because it is the best way to connect with locals and find the best things to do in various cities other than the known touristy activities. Couchsurfing is like a pay-it-forward act and I hope to host some great people one day when my travels are done!

I love to cook and try new recipes and local cuisine. I also enjoy traveling and being outdoors exploring new places or just relaxing in the backyard. I am an animal lover, I love both watching and playing sports and also enjoy crafting.

I generally listen to most types of music. For movies I love anything comedic! And for books, I have most recently read 'Two by Two' by Nicholas Sparks and am currently reading 'Fight Club' by Chuck Palahniuk. I love to read and am always looking for suggestions on what to read next! My favorite book is from when I was a child called 'The Secret Garden' by Frances Hodgson Burnett.
