Hello! My name is Mackenzie. I am currently living in Budapest, Hungary where I teach English in a primary school. I am originally from the USA, where I studied Psychology and Anthropology. I love to travel and experience new places and cultures. I am an easy-going and friendly person who enjoys trying new food and drinks. I love to experience new things and am always ready for an adventure.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I joined Couchsurfing because one of my favourite parts about traveling is meeting new people. Meeting people that I may not have met otherwise opens my eyes to different ways of life, cultures and experiences. The community that is created through couchsurfing is unique and quite amazing and I love being part of it.

I enjoy listening to many different types of music, depending on my mood. Some of my favourite artists are The Chainsmokers, and Avicii.
Like music, I enjoy many types of movies. Some of my favourite movies consists of Pulp Fiction, Psycho, The Truman Show, Les Intouchables, The Lives of Others.
