From Oklahoma but recently lived in Madrid for a year, Seattle for a bit, now have an education job in which I move every couple of months. Mostly used Couchsurfing while traveling from Madrid alone and haven’t had a situation where I could host other surfers (yet) but would like to avoid supporting the hotel industry / the havoc that Airbnb can wreak on communities so, alas!!! Couchsurfing saves the day, planet etc

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to mix my ideas with yours. I think this is the best way to connect to a city, especially when traveling alone! I would hate to miss the best parts of anyplace I go by relying on the cursed internet
