Hi! I am currently on a month long adventure traveling through Europe for the first time using the Eurail. I
recently completed a one year contract teaching English in South Korea. Born and raised in Kansas, Chicago became my second home post college. I love theatre, film, discovering new music, and trying the best local eats. I love learning about people and their stories. I think watching the wind blow through treetops or feeling the fresh sea breeze are some of the best simple pleasures of this world....and chocolate.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Having just completed a year abroad in Korea, I'm taking some time to see a little bit of Europe before I pick my next adventure. I'm trying my best to learn as much as I can about the world. The more I can see, experience, and eat: the better.

Music, Movies, and Books

it's nearly impossible to pick my favorite for any of these categories...my current favorite band is Wild Belle, but I'll always love The Rolling Stones, The Beatles, Bob Dylan, and I've recently been exploring the genre of rocksteady.
Movies: I can't help but love Pulp Fiction and Kill Bill. Casino is a classic. Lars Von Trier pulls me in... There are so many more and so many more I need to see!
I recently read South of the Border, West of the Sun. I'm excited to read more by Murakami.
