One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I studied abroad in French Polynesia, I met some surfers from Kaui and some locals. I had just learned how to surf and we all went out. As I was putting up my hair in the tiny boat barely out together, a fifteen foot wave picked up the boat and capsized. Somehow, I survived the coral barrier with only a few scrapes. Been praising whatever sea monster that decided to save me that day, but it was one of the most life changing occurrence that has ever happened to me and I live life enjoying every day ever since.
