ABOUT ME

I am honest, open and easy going, I like to have fun and enjoy socialising, I have 3 grown up daughters and 5 Grandchildren. I have lived a varied life, and experienced a lot, some good, some bad, but believe this all goes towards making me the person I am today.I get along with all age groups and like to see the good in everyone. I love nature and growing things and have for a period in my life had a go at self sufficiency, growing all my own veg, keeping animals, making wine cheese jams pickles and chutney, I really enjoyed this lifestyle, and really wish I was fit enough to do it again. I tend to be an Agony Aunt for friends, I think that is what drew me to Social work. I have a keen sense of humour and am a down to earth straight talking person.

PHILOSOPHY

Life should be lived to the full, and enjoyed whilst hurting as few people as possible.

During my travels I couchsurfed numerous times, which I enjoyed very much, I got to see and do more than an average tourist which makes the whole travel experience even more worthwile, I have also made numerous new friends from couchsurfing

Teach, Learn, Share

I enjoy learning from people from different cultures, I have already learnt from my time here in Turkey, that materialism and spoiling children with material goods(as we do in the West)does our family life no good at all. The children and young people here are so much more respectful and helpful. It is so nice to walk through a group of teenage boys and not feel threatened by it. Instead they greet you and ask if you need help.
