ABOUT ME & My lovely family

I (Weidong) am an easygoing person. I love to travel. Especially, I love to travel with my family. My goal is to travel around the world. I have a lot of interests. DIYed several remote control planes. I love discus hand launch glider most. Though I have played it for years. 2017, I am learning unicycling.

My lovely wife (Shuhua) is now a part time worker who also taking care of our family. When we travel abroad, she do the most homework for the trip.

I have two teenagers and one cat. The cat is call Ma-Gi.

My daughter (I-Ju) is an university student. Love singing, drawing.
My son (Yun-che) born is an high school student, very energetic. Love to play Japanese swords, boxing.

They are all welcoming couch surfers and love to travel with me.

We welcome couch surfers who are willing to share and interact. I opened my door for the surfers not only to know more about the world in home, but also to let my children know more about the world by knowing more people and culture.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I noticed there's a CS website long time ago. At that time, I don't have money to travel nor house to be a host.
Now, I have a house to host CS at least ^_^
Next thing is to have money to being CS with my family.

This has been achieved in 2015 UK travel. What a wonderful experience of being couch surfing family. Thanks a lot for my CS friends in UK.

Year 2017, visited Netherlands, Germany (Aachen to be exact) and Belgium. We also had a wonderful time and memory there.

Year 2018, in Brussels Belgium for two months. Then go to Beijing China for 10 months.

Year 2019, back to Taiwan, Kaohsiung.

2023 restart CS hosting.

Star-trek is my favorite series. I like jazz but I don't have much chance listening to it. I love soft music.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most amazing things I've remembered is the birth of my children. Really awesome.
The other thing is I learned wind surfing @ Saudi Arabia.

I like cooking. I have two or three specialty dish. If u love the taste, I can teach you.

What I Can Share with Hosts

A room with bed but with air conditioning. This room is about 3x3 square meter. It's wood floor, so if you don't mind, you can sleep on the floow. Though there's AC, I still prefer to host in not so hot season beacuase (late April to late October) there's no AC in the living room.
