Hello, everyone! My name is Madalena and I grew up in a small town in the countryside in Portugal. I had a happy childhood, playing in nature, with animals and freedom. When I was little, I wanted to be a vet, I love animals, but I ended up following the world of arts.

I studied Multimedia Art at the Faculty of Fine Arts in Lisbon. I really enjoy art, music, illustration, video and photography. In recent years, I have been working as a designer for a small company.

I started travelling at a young age with my parents and visited several countries, and I soon realised that I wanted to continue discovering new places. In 2023, I put my backpack on and went on an Interrail trip around Europe with a friend. It was incredible!

Since then, I have visited Thailand and Morocco. I really enjoy discovering new cultures, food, music, new people and their stories!

I had heard about this platform before, but I never actually signed up. Now I have! I really enjoy meeting new people, and I think this is a great way to connect when I'm in a new place.
I would like to have a closer and more authentic experience with the local community. And in return, share my personal and cultural experience!
I think it can make adapting to a new country easier and more fun!
