I'm studying at my university to open my own bakery someday. I love books, movies, TV, people, big comfy sweaters, and laughing. I'm a really social person and I just love making friends with new people.

I'm super easy-going and I just like to have fun. Whether that's sitting up late in a coffee shop talking for hours, binge-watching a TV show, or driving to Dallas for some night life.

A friend of mine introduced me to this site recently. I love meeting new people and actually experiencing what it's like to live in a new place, not just the tourist version. This seems like the perfect place for that. When I travel, I want to see the iconic sights, but I mostly just want to get a feel for what it's like to live there. I want the local's experience more than anything.

Music: classic rock (AC/DC, Zeppelin, CCR...), indie pop, indie rock. I can listen to almost anything, but those are definitely my favorites. :)

Movies: How do I choose a favorite?? Third Star, Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, It's Kind of a Funny Story, Safety Not Guaranteed, the Avengers...

Books: The Book Thief by Markus Zusack, Eon by Allison Goodman, the Harry Potter series...

I got to study abroad my first year of university and I moved to Australia with less than a month's notice! I had zero time to prepare, but everything just sort of fell into place for me. I went alone and didn't know anyone there, but I made amazing friends and have some great stories to tell. :)
